How does work coaching benefit your business?
With 500+ hours of work coaching under my belt, and as a trusted provider for the NHS, I’ve seen how powerful work coaching can be for business growth and success.
All because one person had the additional support in place that they needed to thrive.
I help your neurodivergent employees to reach their full potential, reduce stress, and make meaningful impact at work.
But what does that look like for you?
Increased retention – employees thrive in your work environment, so you can retain your best employees and save on recruitment and training.
Boosts growth – when your employees are supported with workflows and systems to suit all brain types, projects are completed faster and on time, which increases output and accelerates your growth.
Innovation – when your employees understand how to enhance their analytical and strategic thinking, your business will identify new opportunities and gain an advantage over your competitors.
These are just a few of the benefits we see when a neurodivergent employee feels fully supported.
The Facts
Every year, the City and Guilds Foundation releases a report to understand the power of diverse minds and how to create environments for everyone to thrive.
In 2025, some of the key findings were:
33% of employees were not satisfied with the current support they’re receiving from their employer.
51% of employees say they’ve taken time off work because of their neurodivergence.
26% of employees report having no adjustments put in place relating to their caring responsibilities.
34% of employees said they’ve felt well supported in their workplace.
Not everyone feels comfortable sharing what’s really going on due to fear of rejection and even shame.
Having these sometimes-difficult conversations with your employees is precisely what I’m here for. Your intermediary support to help them find their voice, understand and communicate clearly what they need, and feel supported to do their job well.
You might have found yourself feeling hesitant about providing additional support and having these conversations with your employee.
I often hear things like:
“I don’t want to offend anyone or come across as presumptuous about what they need”
“I don’t want to appear to be showing ‘favouritism’ to one person – how is that going to affect the rest of the team?”
“I want to get it right, but what if I don’t?”
Which is why it’s essential to have a qualified, certified, and neuro-affirmative trained coach. Bringing an external provider into your workplace could have a negative impact if you don’t onboard someone with the relevant experience and qualifications.
What does it look like when your employee isn’t getting the support they need?
What employers often see is the result of an unmet need - the symptoms.
Those symptoms might look like:
Missing work more than usual
Continually missing deadlines
Unclear communication with team members
Appearing more withdrawn
Making basic mistakes
This can cause frustrations among team members, damage relationships with managers, and impact essential projects.
Which is understandable when you don’t understand the root cause
Maybe you’ve already given out some accommodations (adjustments to help an individual carry out their job), but you’ve based it on a tick list you were given, or what previous employees have had before.
But it’s not working because everyone has their individual needs.
So, what can you do, and where does work coaching
fit into all of this?
Accommodations
& Coaching
Through coaching (either co-coaching with your managers or individually with your employee), we’ll be able to work out which accommodations, tools and/or strategies your employee needs to carry out their job effectively and support their well-being. You can read more about example accommodations and strategies in our guide for employees.
Access to Work
Access to Work is a government-funded scheme to help individuals to stay in or start work. It can cover some of your employees’ accommodations, which is beneficial for businesses that are unable to meet specific accommodations due to cost. It can also cover some of those expenses, such as transport, that employers wouldn’t be responsible for.
You can read more about Access to Work, what it pays for, and how employees can apply in this guide.
What are the tangible results of work coaching to your business?
We know that work coaching not only benefits the individual but the business they work for, with real, tangible results. Here are just a few things you can look forward to when working with a coach like me:
1. Enhanced Performance & Productivity
I help your team members manage intense workloads and consistently meet deadlines without burnout by understanding their unique ways of processing information, such as the pattern-recognition skills often found in dyslexia, or channelling the 'busy brain' associated with ADHD.
2. Improved Collaboration & Communication
We’ll bridge the communication gaps between different neurotypes, including between autistic and non-autistic colleagues, minimising misunderstandings and fostering a psychologically safe environment. Your employees will develop greater self-awareness regarding their own communication styles and those of others.
3. Strengthened Leadership & Resilience
You’ll retain your top neurodivergent talent and build a sustainable high-performance environment by developing resilient, flexible neurodivergent-affirming leaders who are able to harness the unique strengths found across the neurodiversity spectrum.
What makes me different?
I am a trusted provider to the NHS and UK Government with over 500+ coaching hours and a deep, firsthand understanding of the finance industry. My approach is backed by an International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification, a specialist certification in ADHD coaching, and a Diploma in Neuroscience, grounding my practical strategies in a scientific understanding of the brain.
