Anti-Fraud, Bribery and Corruption Statement

Our commitment

Tretis Limited is committed to conducting business with honesty, integrity and transparency. We have a zero-tolerance approach to fraud, bribery and corruption in all forms, whether committed by, or against, our business, our clients, or our suppliers.

Scope

This statement applies to all work carried out by Tretis Limited, including services provided to public sector clients such as NHS organisations, and to anyone acting on our behalf.

Legislative context

We recognise our obligations under UK fraud, bribery and corruption legislation, including:

  • The Fraud Act 2006.

  • The Bribery Act 2010.

  • The Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023 (ECCTA), including the corporate "failure to prevent fraud" offence that came into force on 1 September 2025.

While our business sits below the legal threshold of a "large organisation" defined in ECCTA, we voluntarily adopt proportionate fraud-prevention measures in line with the spirit of the legislation and the NHS Suppliers' Code of Practice on preventing fraud, bribery and corruption.

Our fraud-prevention measures

As a small limited company, we maintain proportionate controls appropriate to the size and nature of our business:

  • Risk awareness. We carry out periodic, proportionate reviews of fraud and bribery risks relevant to our work and client base.

  • Accurate records. We keep clear, accurate and timely records of all financial transactions, invoices, contracts and client communications.

  • Due diligence. We carry out reasonable checks on clients, suppliers and any third parties we engage.

  • Secure systems. We use secure systems to handle client data, financial information, and payments, with access controls and regular updates.

  • No facilitation payments. We do not offer, give, request or accept bribes, kickbacks or facilitation payments of any kind.

  • Training and awareness. We keep up to date with relevant guidance from HMRC, the NHS Counter Fraud Authority and the UK Government on fraud, bribery and corruption.

  • Conflicts of interest. We declare any actual or potential conflicts of interest to clients at the earliest opportunity.

Gifts and hospitality

We do not offer or accept gifts, hospitality, holidays, promises of future employment or any other inducement that could be perceived as influencing a procurement decision or business relationship. Where a public-sector client (including NHS organisations) has its own gifts and hospitality policy, we will comply with that policy. Any modest, customary courtesies (such as a tea or coffee during a meeting) are recorded where appropriate.

Conflicts of interest

We declare any actual, potential or perceived conflicts of interest - financial or personal - to clients at the earliest opportunity. This includes any personal or family relationships with individuals at a contracting organisation, and any prior commercial relationships that could affect impartiality. If a conflict arises during a contract, we will disclose it promptly. We will also complete any non-collusion, non-canvassing or conflict-of-interest declarations required as part of a tender or contracting process.

Fair competition

We participate in any tender or quote process in good faith. We do not collude with other suppliers, share confidential bid information, or engage in bid-rigging, price-fixing or cover pricing.

Subcontractors and associates

Where we engage associates, subcontractors or other third parties to support our work, we expect them to uphold equivalent standards of integrity and to comply with the principles in this statement.

Reporting concerns

If you suspect fraud, bribery or any form of financial wrongdoing involving Victoria Tretis or anyone acting on our behalf, please use the contact form.

All concerns raised with us will be taken seriously, handled confidentially, and investigated proportionately. We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone raising a genuine concern in good faith.

Review

This statement is reviewed at least annually, and sooner if there is a material change to our business or the legislative landscape.
